Need a speaker, workshop facilitator, panelist, or leader for your group activity?
I love sharing my secrets for tapping into Creativity and using Creative Flow as a tool for managing everyday stresses, improving relationships, helping teams work together more effectively, and achieving greater work-life balance.
I have extensive experience in public speaking and leading large groups through complex information in a way that’s fun and engaging, and ensures that everyone can take away what they need to start implementing change right away.
Whether it’s for a short lunchtime enrichment talk, a series of day-long workshops, or anything in-between, I love guiding participants to work with their hands and learn by participating, doing, and experiencing — rather than just sitting still and pretending to listen to a talking head with a bunch of dull slides whilst surreptitiously responding to emails!
If you’d like to ensure that your event will provide lasting benefits, as well as being enjoyed and remembered by everyone who attends, just contact me using the form below.
Having been active in both the Creative and business worlds throughout her life, Donna is uniquely placed to guide professionals in tapping into their own innate Creativity and using that Creativity as a tool for handling everyday stresses, improving relationships, helping teams work together more effectively, and achieving greater work-life balance.
Donna started her professional life as a US-qualified lawyer in Washington, D.C., before seizing the opportunity to be loaned to a Japanese law firm in Tokyo for a year, then left the practice of law to spend 10 years in Southeast Asia raising her two young children. She then completely changed her life again by settling in the UK and re-training to become a senior compliance professional for financial institutions in the City of London for 10 years.
From her first photography class at 16, Donna has been actively engaged in exploring art and creativity throughout her sojourn in Asia and her various professional roles. Having studied art history during university, Donna continued those studies whilst living overseas, starting with extensive photography classes in Tokyo.
In Singapore Donna studied the art, architecture, history, and culture of Southeast Asia whilst becoming a Docent (volunteer guide) at the Singapore Art Museum and the National Museum of Singapore. Donna ultimately developed and ran a four-month training program for the Docents at the Singapore Art Museum, as well as researching, drafting, and presenting public lectures at the National Museum of Singapore on various aspects of Asian and Southeast Asian culture and religion, illustrated with her slides of Burma, Bhutan and Tibet.
Not content to study Art History, Donna also began taking drawing and painting classes whilst living in Singapore. Donna dabbled in various other media, including baking and creating extravagantly-decorated cakes and cookies, before discovering her true Creative passion — Modern Quilting. (Check out the Portfolio page of her website for lots of eye candy in all media!)
While pursing her Creative passion during her free time from her demanding job in the City of London, Donna quickly discovered the healing value of Creativity and Creative Flow and developed her own unique method for using Creative Flow to help handle stressful situations at work and at home calmly and easily.
Donna refined her method and honed her live workshop skills while taking Creative Journey Facilitator Training with Lisa Sonora, sought-after workshop facilitator and award-winning author of The Creative Entrepreneur. She has now decided to combine her love of art and Creativity with her first-hand experience of the stresses that arise for successful professionals and is committed to helping others discover the secrets for finding their own Creativity and Creative Flow, and for using Creativity and Creativity Flow to transform their lives.
